Mass Intention Request

WHAT IS A MASS INTENTION?

In the Roman Catholic tradition, a Mass intention is a specific purpose for which a Mass is offered. This can be for various reasons, such as for the repose of the soul of a deceased loved one, for the health and well-being of someone, or for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary. When a Mass is offered for an intention, the priest includes it in his prayers during the Eucharistic celebration, bringing the needs and prayers of the faithful before God.

A MASS INTENTION MAY BE REQUESTED FOR:

• The Deceased: Praying for the souls in Purgatory, aiding their purification and entrance into Heaven.
• The Living: Seeking God's grace and blessings for health, success, and other needs; for example, someone who is sick or suffering, or who is celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or other special moment in their life.  

A MASS INTENTION MAY NOT BE REQUESTED FOR:

• An unknown or "private" intention.
• A prayer intention that contradicts Catholic moral doctrine.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

• Acknowledgment: Once your request is processed and the Mass is scheduled, you will receive an email confirming your request and receipt of payment.  You will then receive a Mass card in the mail. This card will include the date and time of the Mass, allowing you to participate in prayer from wherever you are.
• Scheduling: We strive to accommodate all requests promptly. However, please allow some time for processing and scheduling, especially during busy liturgical seasons.
• Participation: You are encouraged to attend the Mass if possible, but if you cannot, know that your intention will be remembered in the prayers of the Mass.
• Limitation: We ask you do not schedule more than 5 Masses per requestor.
