7th Grade Student Amelia Haydu Announced Winner of Essay Contest

The Delaware State Council of the Knights of Columbus is pleased to announce the state winner of the 28th Annual Jerry E. Dawson Memorial Vocation Essay Contest for Religious Education. 

The winner is seventh grader Amelia Haydu, a parishioner and Religious Education student at St. Joseph on the Brandywine. 

Amelia will receive her awards and read her essay on St. Maximilian Kolbe following the 10:00 a.m. Mass on April 14. 

Her essay can also be viewed on our parish website or heard on Relevant Radio, 640AM, on April 13 at 1:30 p.m.
